How to improve passing in soccer
Objective of the Practice:
This practice is designed to improve the technical ability of the “Push Pass” with an emphasis on “disguise, pace, accuracy and timing”.
Field Preparation:
Area 10 x 10 yards. 4 players. 1 ball. Cones. Colored bibs.
Coaching Points:
Three players are positioned within a grid 10 yards by 10 yards. The three players must try and keep possession from the defender. The three players in possession may move anywhere within the grid. The defender's goal is to disposes the players in possession.
The two supporting players must always work to offer the deepest and widest possible angles for the player in possession. The supporting players should ask themselves two questions when supporting the player in possession:
How wide can I get to give the best possible passing lane?
How far from the player can I get to give the maximum time on the ball when the pass is received?
The player in possession must look to disguise their passing intentions by using step-overs, body feints and head fakes. They must also have the discipline to hold on to the ball and commit the defender towards them.
If they release the ball too early the defender will have less ground to cover to put pressure on the receiving player.
Players in possession are awarded one goal for 10 consecutive passes. Rotate working defender with resting defender frequently to ensure high pressure. Rotate players so each player performs the role of the defender.

7 Ways To Be An Unbeatable Negotiator
‘.
If there was one skill that could make or break your success in business, it would be the art of negotiation. This is especially true if you are part of a small business that is trying to win clients against larger and more established businesses. So today we feature ‘The 7 Ways To Be An Unbeatable Negotiator In Life & In Business"
1. Don’t Show Any Signs Of Desperation

2. Start Off On The Right Foot
Maintain a confident manner right from the beginning. If you look nervous and do not engage them in a way that they respond to, then you could ruin your chances before you even get started. The other person is sizing you up and make sure that you are someone they can trust and want to do business with, and if you portray anything else then you may lose them to someone they feel more confident about. In order for them to listen to your proposals, you need to be personable, engaging, and conversational with them from the moment you shake hands.
3. Negotiate for Something Better
The other person has no idea what you want, need, or will be satisfied with, so if you start out with a high number or expectation, then you will set a line of expectations for them to keep in mind during negotiations. For instance, if you want to work out a deal to sell three units of something to them, then try to negotiate six units to begin with. This way, they will view the number six as your expectation. If you end up selling only three units, then you will still be satisfied and they will feel like they got a good deal.
4. Always Lead The Negotiation
Do not stand back and wait for the other person to begin. If you do, then you allow them to set the tone of the negotiating, and you end up being the one who is along for the ride instead of making the decisions. In their book ‘Negotiation’ Adam D. Galinsky and Roderick I. Swaab mention that they have found that the final outcome of a negotiation is influenced by who makes the first offer. Therefore, if you wanted to sell three units of something, and they start the negotiations, then they may only offer to buy two units without you even getting to set the high expectation of six. To counter offer six units at this point could cost you a deal. Therefore, always take charge of the conversation and set your highest expectations first.
5. Do Not Use a Poker Face
If you are not happy with an offer, then do not pretend to ponder it with thoughtful reflection. This will only cause the other person to feel as though they have an opening with their offer. Instead, if you are not happy, then show you are not happy with your body language and facial expressions. This will send the other person a message that you are not someone whose expectations lower easily. It will also signal that you feel strongly about your argument and position in the negotiation, and that could influence their decision in your favor greatly.
6. Have Solutions To Their Concerns Ready
Before going into negotiations sit down and think about all the possible concerns that they may have during your negotiation. Go over the solutions to those concerns so that you are able to address any concerns that may arise in a quick manner. According to Raphael Lapin, a Harvard-trained negotiation specialist, “Entering into a negotiation with the needs of both sides and some possible ideas to meet those needs will allow you to project confidence and optimism.” Even if they think of a concern that you did not imagine, you will likely be able to pull from your other answers and come up with a satisfactory answer.
Preparation will help you stay on your toes during the negotiation and quickly redirect any doubt towards confidence.
7. Set a Time Limit
Often, if the person you are negotiating with thinks that they may miss out on something good, then they will quickly search out the pros of your offer and focus on them to help them make their decision. The longer they focus on the pros, the more you can convince them that this deal is right for them. Remember, in order for someone to commit to anything, they need to think that they are getting something out of it, and if they are focused on the positives, and they think their time is limited, then they will act much faster than if they think that they can ‘shop around’.

Les Brown's 6 Keys To Self Motivation

Les Browns 6 Keys To Self Motivation
Self Mastery
One of the things we MUST always be working on is achieving
Self Mastery.
You must work on yourself continuously, never be satisfied
with yourself. Always know that as you invest the time and effort on you that’s
the greatest ability that human beings have above animals. A dog can’t be
anything but a dog, a tree can’t be anything but a tree.
Human being you’ve got unlimited potential, you can put
effort on you, and by concentrating on you and developing you, you can
transform your life no matter where you are right now.
Stop Settling
Most people settle, What have you settled for lately? You
know when you make an out of court settlement that means that you have decided
to take something less than you originally wanted to get had you gone in to
court and the reason that you’ve settled outside of court is because you didn’t
believe that you could get it. Many of us are making an ‘In life Settlement’.
We are settling for less than what we actually deserve. We don’t feel good
about it but we make it work in our minds.
Develop A Health Plan
You can’t perform if you don’t have good health, your health
is VALUABLE. Develop a health plan, a plan that you will follow because this is
the only vehicle that you have to carry you through this experience we call
LIFE.
Live Life with Energy &
Passion
You want to make a conscious effort to be lively. In life
you either ‘sing hello or sing goodbye’. You are either ‘on your way or in the
way’. You want to smile, you want to be happy, you’ve got a lot to be thankful
for.
Monitor Your Inner Conversations
The things that you say to yourself, you want to watch them
and in watching them you want to take charge.
Short circuit and override that conversation that’s always
going on, 85% of what that conversation will tell you is NEGATIVE. It will tell
you that you’re tired when you’re really not tired, it will tell you you can’t
do it, it will fill you with FEAR. So you’ve got to watch that conversation,
and when you find it going on you’ve got to stand up to it and say “I’m gonna
do this anyhow, I’m afraid but I’m afraid not to do it, and I’m not gonna let
you stop me”. The biggest challenge in life that you will have is with you.
There is an old African Proverb that says, “When there is no
enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.”
Know Why You Are Doing It
It is important to know why you are doing it, because your
mind will say “Why bother?” “Why go through all of this?”, “This is too hard”.
Here’s how you can override that… Write down 5 reasons why
you deserve it, why you? why do you deserve it? “What meaning and value will it
bring to your life”, “what’s so different about you, that you deserve your
goal?”
When you write down those 5 reasons, when you have those
down moments and you will have them, When that conversation starts talking to
you, and it will start talking to you, what you can do is, you can pull that
out and read it and it will build you up. It will be your rod and your staff to
comfort you through some challenging moments, because you’re gonna have some.
Life will knock you between the eyes, it will catch you on the blind side and
come out of nowhere, stuff you can’t anticipate. That’s why it is important for
you to work on yourself, listening to tapes, building yourself up, talking to
yourself with power, feeling and conviction, building yourself up day in and
day out.

The 5 Great Lessons Walt Disney Taught Us
The first thing that we can learn from Disney as an entrepreneur is his love for drawing. He loves to draw so much that he draws in his spare time and he even draws while working as an artist. He devoted most of his life to his art that he was even willing to work other jobs just to fund his passion.

Here are 5 things that you can learn from one of the most successful entrepreneurs in history.
1. Do What You Love

Disney went through a series of odd jobs and even became an ambulance driver in the army during World War I along with his friend Ray Kroc (the man who made McDonalds what it is today); and throughout this journey, Disney found his love for drawing.
2. Take What You Do Seriously
Whenever Walt Disney made his cartoons he always did so with the focus of a lion stalking his prey. He always paid attention to every detail and dealt with things with the utmost care. He never took his art and talent for granted.Never would you find Walt Disney in his studio just slacking off and procrastinating on his projects; he always took the lead when it came to doing what he loves and he would never put his passion on the back burner.
3. Do It For Others

He had a lot of comics back in the day and he would always find ways to share it with the public. He joined his school’s publications as a comic artist, and he even took a job in a local newspaper as none other than a comic artist.
Walt Disney’s works teach us a lot of things, such as the value of love for friends and family, hope for the good and his most important lesson: good will always triumph over evil.
4. Never Just Settle With Your First Success
One thing that you would definitely notice about Walt Disney is that after one accomplishment he would immediately start on another project. After finishing his legendary film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”, Disney immediately went to work on other feature films such as “Bambi”, “Fantasia” and many others. After creating Mickey Mouse, Disney didn’t stop at just him. Instead he went on and created Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto and many other iconic characters even for today’s generation. He was never content with what he had done because he always wanted to achieve more and grow with his dreams. He also didn’t stop with just one Mickey Mouse design, he kept redesigning his creation so that it would be better every time.
5. Don’t Let Obstacles Stop You
When Walt Disney first started to work on Snow White, his wife and own brother did all they could to convince him to stop. The Snow White project was even termed as “Disney’s Folly”, and halfway across production he ran out of money to continue the work.
When Snow White was finally featured it received nothing short of a standing ovation. The success of the film put Disney in the Golden Age of Animation, and allowed him to start on all of his other feature films. He could have cashed in and went his separate ways from the animation world, but his hopes and his dreams where too strong to fold. Walt’s decision to ‘full steam ahead’ is really what allowed him to define a generation with his iconic creations.
There are a lot of other things that you can learn from other successful people, but most likely those things are either the same or at least, they are related. Here are only 5 things that you can learn from Walt Disney. His success has definitely served as an inspiration to a lot of people and even after his death, his legacy still carries on.
